How exciting! — Aaron has been added to the Tribeca Film Festival jury!

Aaron Eckhart, America Ferrera, Gary Ross, Alicia Keys and Whoopi Goldberg are among those tapped to serve as one of 35 jurors for the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.

World narrative competish will be presided over by actors including Eckhart and Cheryl Hines, screenwriter John Ridley and writer/director/producer Gary Ross, among others. Goldberg, Jessica Alba and Aidan Quinn are among the group choosing the world docu winner.

In New York categories, Selma Blair, Andrew McCarthy and Zach Braff are some of the names on the list of jurors for the New York narrative feature competish, while Ferrera, producer/director Dan Klores and screenwriter Scott Neustadter are among those on the panel to choose the New York docu winner.

Short narrative film will be selected by a team including Brooke Shields, Peter Facinelli and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, with docu/student short chosen by Keys, AOL chair Tim Armstrong, art dealer Larry Gagosian and visual artist/filmmaker Shirin Neshat, among others.

The six kudos will be handed out at an awards ceremony April 29, along with cash prizes totaling $130,000 and original artworks donated by contempo visual artists.

Fest runs April 21-May 2.

He may have been all about fighting Batman in the The Dark Knight, but Aaron Eckhart tells PEOPLE that he has a new real life obsession — fashion photography! Having recently shot his first campaign for pal Molly Sims’ jewelry line, Eckhart tells PEOPLE at the line’s N.Y.C. launch last week that his new calling might be behind the lens. “I’m obsessed with it–it’s all I do,” he says. “That’s really the only thing I think about.”

With magazines like French Vogue, Italian Vogue and L’Uomo Vogue as his inspirations, and famed photographers like Peter Lindbergh and Bruce Weber as his heroes, the easygoing actor says that capturing raw human emotions is what he’s most passionate about. “Straight-up fashion photography in the studio–that’s not what I necessarily aspire to, you know? I like to be outside, on location, making up stories,” he says. “That’s where my acting comes in.”

So will the actor–who’s starring in an upcoming movie with Nicole Kidman later this year–turn photo pro? “I will if somebody asks me,” he says. “Hopefully I’ll do exhibitions and all that sort of stuff. I’m really just a photography geek. I just love to shoot.” –David Yi

New York City’s Henri Bendel was bursting with color to celebrate the expansion of Molly Sims’ jewelry empire with the introduction of Grayce by Molly Sims The Collection, which looked “good enough to eat,” said “close friend,” Aaron Eckhart, who also shot the ad campaign.

The new jewelry line is being sold in Sims’ own pop-up shop at the high-end retailer and will soon be available on her Website. (She currently sells the more affordable ‘Grayce by Molly Sims’ on HSN.)

StyleList: What do you admire most about Molly and her style?
Aaron Eckhart: She is always smiling, has a lot of energy, and is very graceful. She is a real woman and that is what her jewelry is. It just looks delicious. I want to eat it.

SL: Is there anything about Molly’s beauty and fashion that has affected your lifestyle or daily routine?
AE: I’m not sure about my own fashion, but what I love about Molly is her creativity. She knows how to make things happen, and she knows who she is, and I really admire that.

She has the freedom to be who she wants to be and that is how she represents herself in pictures and how she portrays herself to young people. She has a real love of life and that comes through.

I am a fashion head case though.

SL: No you look great!
AE: Ha! No, I’m just covering it up.

Newly bearded Aaron Eckhart laid low at a party last night for his “friend” (girlfriend?) Molly Sims and her jewelry line, Grayce the Collection, for which he shot the ad campaign. But we still asked him about The Rum Diary, the Hunter S. Thompson biopic that features Eckhart alongside Johnny Depp. Alas, there’s still no word on a premiere date, even though the film has been in the works for (at least) three years.

“I don’t know, I don’t know where they’re at. I think they’re trying to get into Cannes, maybe,” Eckhart told us. Have there been problems trying to release it? “It hasn’t even been a year yet, so I don’t think so. It’s one of those movies where, you know — this is Johnny’s pet project, it’s his baby. So I think he’s going to take his time and release it in the proper place. I think it’ll do good, I really do. Johnny’s absolutely wonderful in it.”
